How to make gods show up?

Is there any way to make certain gods show up more? Because I swear to GOD, some fates challenges are utter nonsense.

I need to collect every Poseidon boon at least once. Now I am missing 1 boon, and to get it - get this - I need to pick up a CALL boon first. So basically the game is telling you "GET LUCKY TWICE IN A ROW IDIOT!"

It's a very rare chance for me to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ call if I use his shell, but the biggest problem is that, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shows up, gives me the call and is never seen in the game again.

And if he somehow magically does show up, he gives me some useless ♥♥♥♥ that I dont need, even if I use rerolls.

So yeah, the question is, how do I make gods appear more? Or is the game really giving you the finger and expects you to keep restarting until you get the desired result?

Keepsakes. Give a gift to a god and they give you a keepsake that forces them to spawn at the start, meaning they'll also keep popping up throughout that run.

Thats the problem - I use Poseidons keepsake, he shows up once, and then barely ever again

You must pray to Randemesius the Greek god of RNG though he is a spiteful god. I know the boon you are going for and that is one of the most annoying to get to appear. I think I finally got it after 100 runs, but I had to make a concerted effort to go for it.

I would say continue to grab Poseidon first in Tartarus and grab the call or dash first. You really want the mirror of night item that allows you to re-roll offered boons as well. Try to not pick up any other gods if you can help it outside of Zeus or Artemis for builds. I was lucky to get that last boon by the time I hit Styx. The game stops offering you gods after you have four unique boons not counting Chaos or Hermes.

Also using Give Up will not change the items offered in the seed so far. Using give up will just offer the same exact boons if you don't change items/aspect.

Just keep trying. It'll pop sooner or later and pay attention to the other boons required to get the one you want to appear. Good luck.

Thank you! That's some good advice. I didn't really know about that 4 unique boons thing lol I will keep trying, maybe I will eventually get it

Some of the achievements and prophesies take time and a bit of luck to accomplish.

I've never even tried to 100% a game, but I 100%ed Hades without specifically trying to.

Quick strategy from the top of my head: Use another keepsake for Tartarus, hope you get Poseidon anyway, then use his trinket to summon him again. If he doesn't show up, try accomplishing something else that run. Should get it in roughly 5 tries, since the game will usually give you at least two gods in Tartarus.

Take Hypnos' wallet and hit the store, maybe he'll be there.
