230.8 Hours of Gameplay
230.8 hours of game play, and only 40 achievements unlocked. :steamsad: I mean, I will admit that i got sidetracked trying to improve the house and whatnot, but I will probably spend another 100 hrs before I unlock the remainder of the achievements.

I don't see how unless achievements are tied to repeat play, this game was super short for me.
I started playing this game yesterday and beat it in one session.

I got through Hades to see my mom and then it repeated like a NG+

Thing is, there were very few levels and content. Very short like an arcade game.
I really don't care to repeat with such little content, that would be boring.
Moreover, the dialogue in the game was very basic and lacking depth which is also similar to an arcade game.

In life, they say hell is repetition, in that way, this game is a huge success since you repeat Hades.

Finally, with hell being such a small place, did most go to heaven?
Nah, they are probably just playing another game on steam.

You can definitely beat the game in one session. If that's all you plan on doing. This game has a story to tell, items to gather, many characters that you gotta build a relationship with, characters to find. You don't truly "beat" the game until you have completed the story. At least to me. Every escape attempt has a different dialogue, different conversations. So while the game play may feel repetitive, there's many things that make the game interesting and makes you want to continue playing. And yes, there are a predetermined number of rooms, that generate at random. And later on can change, but again, you have to keep playing to unlock the full potential of this game.

This game style might not be your cup of tea. Which is fine, at least you tried it, I guess.

Thanks for reply. :)

How many NG+ is this? I mean, how many times through Hades?

I have made 85+ escape attempts, with 36 successful escapes. And I still haven't reached the epilogue of the story. Of course there are better players out there who probably have done this with less amount, but it does take a while to unlock all weapons, weapon aspects, complete characters quests, etc. While I am way past the half-way point, I still got a bit more to go before completing the story. There are a few youtubers/twitch streamers who play the game, it is interesting to see how they go about it, I recommend you take a look if you would like.

The main story quest is completed when you complete 10 successful escapes. :)

That's nearly 3 hours per escape attempt. Does it seem like you spend that long on each attempt? You could have a look in the records room at your times.

Correct, which takes time and additional runs. Not to forget keepsakes and all their associated characters.

Yes, turned out, that the game was left running, when I thought I had exited :steamfacepalm:, not sure where my mind was at the time. My usual times vary from 25 to 35 minutes per escape.

Not a complaint on my part. I love this game :steamhappy:. Just small talk of an observation, since i didn't realized how many hours I had accumulated. And as it turns out, the game was left running in the background when I thought I had closed it. :steamfacepalm:
