Athena's dash is stupidly unbalanced.

Like the more I play the more I find that single boon to be worth more than anything else I could possibly receive for any given run, to the point where it's worth every re-roll just to take a common version of it over any other boon no matter the rarity.

Can't help but feel dash should have invincibility frames by default considering how much better this boon is than everything else. Wish i was exaggerating.

You do have invuln frames with dash. Athena's boon just extends the window and also deflects.

You can dash OVER various attacks without harm. It has invulnerability. Athena deflects which allows you to just dance around and harm others with their own attacks. Athena deflects on everything. Best Girl

Combine that with +1/2/3/4 extra dashes from Hermes XD. But yeah, I always roll for Athena's dash deflect. It's just too good not to have.

To clarify, as others have said you do have i-frames while dashing, but you do not have i-frames while performing a dash strike. That's an important distinction.

That said, Athena's Dash is quite potent. Arguably the second-strongest core boon in the game, with Poseidon's Dash being inarguably the strongest. Splash Dash can literally carry an entire run.

Interesting. I didn't know there were invuln frames with the regular dash because I get hit consistently dodging into attacks with that.

Not the biggest fan of his dash but Poseidon is probably the most fearsome of the greek gods.
