What is your favorite build? Any recommendation? I just did an Chiron Aspect + Doom special run and killed hades second phase in less than 10 sec. It was just a 3 heat run so I dont know if this build would hold up on high heat lvl, but it is quite solid imo.

What about you guys? Any recommendation? I'm trying to find a solid build to clear high heat lvls with the shield and the machine gun, those are definitly my worse weapons.

He means bow build. Grab the bow, choose Chiron (aspect which guides all darts from it special to same target), add Ares dot boon and launch like 1.5k homing millile into the boss freaking face.
Too many win button builds in this game atm, i'd say. Guess they will fix it soon, so... enjoy, while you can. Just like i do...

I know what chiron aspect is, i just don't understand how it works. Doesen't doom apply only once unless you grab a boon that allows multiple stacking (dire misfortune) but additional stacks will deal significantly reduced damage.

There's a boon that increases doom damage depending on how many stacks you have on.

I had that combined with rapid fire which replaces power shot. And I upgraded crit chance as much as I could. Combined with bow upgrades you get from Titan Blood, I had over 20% crit chance. And I also had Crystal Beam with Duo boon that improves tracking and Artemis's Call which now had like 50% crit chance (almost 100% if marked) and also higher God Gauge fill as I did damage. All I had to do against Hades was cast Crystal Beam then spam him with rapid fire arrows and waited for Gauge to fully fill. At the point it was full it killed Hades instantly. This was my by far most op build I've had so far.

Anyone have any good shield setups? The shield feel so weak and fights just drag on far longer than they should. I even got the Minotaur rush that should give me +500% damage and it was so underwhelming.

In my experience shield runs tend to be slower, even if you aren't playing that defensively, yes.
A popular build that I've tried recently is using Chaos aspect and Ares/Doom on the special. That way you can rush and then throw 4-5 shields, all of which deal doom. That melts normal rooms if you keep upgrading doom damage, the number of times shields rebounce, etc. It's a fun build but bosses can take some time.

As for more raw damage, minotaur rush is REALLY strong if you get the hang of it. I still don't have a favorite boon for the attack but the 500% damage is great if you pull it off consistently. Just keep at it, it's a popular weapon for a reason.

Any shield with Ares stacks or Dionysis.

But aspect of Zues with Lightning on special is awesome. Add to that double strike and wider area and its all over.


But yes remeber shield is the defensive weapon of the game so runs are slower but far far safer.

I don't know what the name of the boon was but the rail with reduced range boon had insane damage.

Just did a bow of hera run with triple shot and flurry shot. With mid level epic aphrodite attack boon, chaos attack boost, and chaos backstab boon, I was melting hades the first chance I had to get in his ass.

Also was running high level heroic dionysus cast with an extra cast from chaos. Really, the triple shot was doing as much damage per hit as all four casts though

The gun with zeus on attack, you get one lighting per bullet, and on top of that add artemis support fire, which shoots one arrow per attack and you get an incredibly op attack

Surprised no one has mentioned Merciful End fists or Heart Rend anything yet. Both are great once you get them going.
Dio fists is also pretty nice, especially once you grab Aphro dash for Low Tolerance, Ares for Curse of Nausea, and Artemis for Support Fire/Splitting Headache. Works well with Privileged Status too if you want an extra 40% damage boost.
