Thanks!
I recently took a small break as well. I reinstalled the game two days ago to try and beat heat 32 with other weapons and the same key conditions but in my experience some weapons just can't handle Tight deadline x 3 when paired with Extreme Measures 4 and Benefits Package 2; in fact I had to dial down Tight DL to 2 just to get to heat 20 with some weapons.
Sword (to me) is not an easy weapon to master. Bow IMHO has many top aspects (I still can't decide whether I prefer Chiron or Rama, and Hera is no slouch either) but still, the most efficient aspects I've played are Achilles spear (superb both as a melee weapon and a cast weapon, so it's one of the most versatile aspects) and obviously Gilgamesh.
This comment is so spot on I was about to start a thread about this.
After a score of Ex. Measures 4, Tight Deadline 3, underworld customs 1 and routine inspection 1 heat 32 runs I decided to try Forced Overtime 2 and get rid of both boon restrictions (routine inspection 1 basically trumps your boon choices and how many boons you get).
The result: I have over 66% success chance when using Forced Overtime 2, against less than 40% using routine inspection and underworld customs. We're talking the same heat level (32) and same big conditions: Extreme measures 4, tight deadline 3, benefits package 2. Also middle management but MM is... meh at best.
It's not just chances; it's about being able to escape using virtually any random build I came across and choosing boons on attack / dash that proved impossible to use when going the Routine inspection path; I've got over 10 victory screenshots documenting these findings.
In my experience, heat 10 or 32 made a small difference for Hades fight on EM4, Forced Overtime 2 or not, except for routine inspection. The main reason is hp: with Dark Foresight (mirror talent) you reach 350-400 hp before Hades fight, not counting keepsakes or centaur farming -remember Tight deadline 3; there are currently 3 or 4 aid boons that can (and will) take 20%-33% of Hades hp not counting synergies (I've aid-nuked EM4 Hades for >50% hp with decent synergies); talking about synergies, Meg's skull keepsake gives 40% extra damage when below 35% health, which is >120hp in F. OT versus 66-80 hp doing routine inspection instead; and finally, taking damage increases your god gauge. Just do the math.
Conclusion: IMHO heat level should be comprised of linear factors as it is now, but some conditions should apply multipliers to other conditions. Most high heat players I've seen avoid jury summons + tight deadline 3 like a plague (they tend to grab calisthenics too). Routine inspection awards 2 heat and it makes EM4 Hades so much harder than forced overtime 2, which yields 6 heat.
But I guess a major change on such a pivotal system would require many resources; given that Hades has done (and is doing) so well (and gladly so, if you ask me), and I haven't seen any complaints about the current heat system, I refrained from posting a new thread on this. Your comment however was so spot on like I said that I had to state my thoughts on the matter.
