You realize that, wish Poseidon knockback dash, you can kill all the bosses with dashes alone, without ever using attack, special or cast? The knockback itself doesn't happen, but the damage and all the synergies are still up. You can kill Hades with dashes alone. It's a good option for new players because you effectively need to concentrate on only one mechanic - the dash. Makes learning the patterns of the bosses much easier, and the final area that's usually a torment for new players suddenly becomes a piece of cake because you're knocking the enemies into the walls all the time and everything dies just so quickly. I did that a lot when I started diving into the heat runs.
Obviously, you cannot do that forever, and combining Poseidon dash with actual attacks is much better. I'm just saying it's definitely viable for players who are new to the game.
a lot of people say the shield is the strongest weapon and i tend to agree.
regardless, any weapon can be strong with the right build
I am a rail/gun user myself. Fast paced shooting gameplay where you can dash while blasting and recharging. And those AoE attacks are amazing too!
