hearts not unlocking after favors done and getting dialog?

ive been trying to get through the "epilogue" (or whatever its considered) by getting full bonding from the gods but i followed some of a guide and im worried something is bugged with this. i had two things to do-- catching fish of Poseidon and killing enemies for Ares. when they asked for this, i had them right up to where the locked hearts were. i had done these things (even before they asked) and eventually they gave me dialog about how i did them. but after a few runs now those locked hearts still havent unlocked. am i supposed to wait for another random dialog?? or did something break? i have done so many runs now its kind of insane to me if i just happen to not have gotten some other progression dialog.

ive given them nectar all the way up to the locked heart, which is not unlocked despite doing the requirements, and there is no option to give them ambrosia because of that... the ambrosia gets gifted once the locked heart has unlocked doesnt it? i gave ambrosia to the ones where the codex shows the lock on the heart was gone

The Poseidon one is tricky. You have to catch one of each kind of fish (legendaries included.) He has a ton of dialogue about fish so it is possible you just haven't actually completed it yet. As for Ares, have you checked the list of prophecies? I believe you have to collect the reward there before he unlocks his hearts, though I'm not entirely sure.

for both i had their task in my list of prophecies, and i did complete and collect the rewards for both. i am pretty positive i got the dialog from both of them where they recognized it? maybe not poseidon because i know hes said multiple things about catching fish and maybe it wasnt the right one still. but ares definitely said i slayed 10,000 enemies when i talked to him

I have an issue with Poseidon, Demeter, Hermes, and Artemis, where I'm not even getting dialogue to do their favor. They just aren't giving me the objective on the fated list, and their dialogues don't progress. I'm not sure what I need to do.

I thought I got Poseidon's when he asked me to kill Theseus with tier 3 Extreme Measures, but from what I've seen in this comment thread, his favor is about fish, so that isn't it.

I recall that I had no problem with the others, they just required extensive amount of gameplay for me. Hermes is the last one I got because you have to equip his feather while talking to him (I didn't recall whether you need to stack it up to some threshold). I didn't got it because I was using some other keepsake.
Anyways, you can search for accurate favor quests on Hades wiki, they have the information you need.
Here is my search results:
Artemis: get her boons and she has a probability of talking about Callisto, her friend. You need to trigger that a number of times.
Demeter: complete the epilogue "family reunion", since she is Zagreus's grandmother.
Poseidon: catch fish, yes. But doesn't seem to do with legendary fish (as on the fated list). Wiki says you need to catch 18 fish in total and caught 1 fish in that run, then get Poseidon's boon.
Hermes: just checked, you only need to equip the feather and get his boon.
