Increase Reputation To Gods

Hi there,

I have a simple question: I want to maximise my reputation to all gods... I already did it with Charon by giving him an ambrosia at the end. At the other gods, I maximised with nectar, but I can't give them ambrosia.

Any idea whats missing or wrong?

Did you unlock the hearts? If so, then it's just a matter of time when there's a prompt to give them ambrosia. Just keep doing runs and it'll eventually come.

Unlock hearts means giving them nectar till the end, right? That's what I did.

Yes, until you have to do favors for some of the gods so you can open the locked hearts.

Keep taking their boons and talking to them, the option to gift ambrosia will unlock after enough dialog. I don't think there's any other requirement. When you're down to the last few gods, you might want to use their keepsakes to make sure you see them.

i ended up doing throw away runs on my new hell mode file.. i finished the main story by like 40 runs and then did like 20+ more runs, but had to get thru tons more dialogue before i could gift ambrosia. a few gods are still locked even. it just feels weirdly paced if you did well?
ide mostly just go at your own pace and do runs normally? i just happened to be trying to rush to the epilogue because didnt do it on my original file and wanted to do all the important stuff before moving on to hades 2... and because it got to the point where every run sorta felt free and i was spending 25-30+ minutes just to get another fresh dialogue box while slowly bumping up heat. and high heat doesnt have too much appeal to me cuz elysium and thesius are pretty tedious and unenjoyable for me. my bull brother is cool but the king is boring imo

In some cases, besides talking you need to fill certain conditions in order to progress.

To be clear, you check in your codex to see if the hearts are locked or not. To unlock hearts, you have to max out the possible hearts with nectar, then complete their "favor", basically a side quest involving them. Each character is different, some are just talking to them a lot, some are completing prophecies, some are based on the state of your save (total number of kills, relationship with other characters, etc.). Once those conditions are fulfilled, you just need the right dialogue to show up, which like with anything dialogue related, can take a while because there is so much dialogue in the game and it is at least somewhat random. If your goal is the epilogue, you can probably expect at least 60-80 runs to get through everything, depending on how fast you complete the story and your luck in conversations.
