No more fishes in the realm of Chaos

Never, why?
I visit him literally almost in every run but the last time I could fish there was like 30 runs ago

It's a combination of randomness and the game's formula for setting up fishing spots. If you had a fishing spot spawn within 5 rooms of having visited the Chaos realm, you will never see a fish. This isn't something you can easily control, so all that you can do is continue to play. You will get fishing spots there eventually.

Chaos place just have a 7% chance of spawning a fishing spot, that's why so rare and even more being just one room per biome if you're lucky enough. (maybe 2 - maybe none)

Also buy every Light of Ixion (spawn chaos gate) from the Well of Charon. (maybe you already know that)

Did you know there's a perfect catch mechanic? When the fish pulls, press the fastest you can for a perfect catch and higher chances for rare ones. (I played 200 hrs before knowing this)

As an out of interest - what's the unlock on the fishing rod? Am only a little way in but am just curious on that?

The Rod of Fishing becomes available for purchase from the House Contractor when the following conditions are met:

* Have access to the Lounge
* Reached the Temple of Styx
* Purchased Fountain Chamber, Tartarus
* Purchased Fated List of Minor Prophecies

Oh that explains everything as I haven't got past the Bull and Spear bloke yet.
