I didn't invest points in Death Defiance until my 38th run due to the text description

I feel like an idiot playing so long now without this perk. The way the text is written in-game made me think it was a one-time use thing, kind of like a consumable.

This restores you to 30% Health 1 time when your Life Total is depleted

I maxed out most other upgrade before putting a point into this simply because it omitted "1 time PER CHAMBER". Getting to Styx had been such a pain without having this...I haven't upgraded a weapon since like my 8th run because I had no blood or ambrosia.

death defiance does not res you once per chamber it stops you from dying (at max) 3 times per run

Classic mistake that I made too. At least now you know... Considering you are already on your 38th run already without it, you can expect things to get a lot easier

Dont think we were playing the same game bud. Did u fight the boss in Elysium. Dont think I can get all the way up there and beat them without a death defiance unless i had my Exagryph. Then maybe...

Nah...you can do it with any weapon if you're proficient enough. I managed to beat that loudmouth (I know his name, but he's my least favorite Greek "hero" of all time lol) and Minotaur duo so many times without dying to them. All you need are your luck to get the right boon combinations for you. I still find those satyrs and trap chambers in the Temple of Styx area more annoying than those two lol.

Well true. But that takes alotta time to get to that level. Maybe if I really tried I could do it because I already have so many hours invested in the game but then I would need the help of strong boons and get ride of my count down pact of punishment that i use quite often lately. Also I wouldnt be able to do it with the bow n arrow unless Hephaestus gave me a quick draw upgrade.
