Do Olympians Boon Keepsake's effect carry over per region?

I am currently trying to get WINTER HARVEST (Legendary) for the prophecy. My issue is that I need at least 5 encounters for it at the minimum (because of the prerequisites) and that's with blessed RNG.

I was planning on using Demeter's Olympian Keepsake (which is already maxed out, so to keep using it is meh), but I was wondering though if it's only worth equipping on 1 region? Does it losses effect and bonuses after completing the region or not?

The next Boon you find will be from Demeter. -- because this text doesn't really mention if it's per region or not, lol. (Sorry, too lazy to experiment).

Keepsakes only force one encounter, but the increased rarity chance stays for as long as you keep it equipped, which will help.

+Rarity boons from Chaos also increase the chance of legendaries; I'm actually not sure if skull rooms increase the chance of getting legendaries or just guarantee not getting commons. The +Legendary/Duo chance mirror talent is a double-edge sword when legendary hunting, because it's a lot easier to hit the requirements for duo boons, which can clog up the pool of potential boons you get offered. Yarn of Ariadne from the well, Refreshing Nectar from Eurydice, and the Exclusive Access duo boon do not increase the chances of getting a legendary.

The only other thing that helps is making sure your god pool is full (once you have taken boons from four gods other than Hermes, the other gods won't appear for the rest of the run unless you use a keepsake to force them, meaning your odds of seeing Demeter again go from one in eight to one in four), and maybe taking Fated Authority over Fated Persuasion so that you can reroll gold laurel rooms for more chances of seeing Demeter, but I still think Fated Persuasion is more useful. Whichever you take, just avoid rerolling the same door/boon more than once until you hit Styx, and take key rooms whenever there's nothing better for more reroll chances.

Edit: Filling your core boon slots helps as well (Attack/Special/Dash/Cast/Call). Gods have a higher chance of offering core boons for a slot that's empty, which dilutes the chances of them offering anything else.

The wording is very literal; the *next* boon will be from her. No hidden meanings there: it only works once. As above, the increased rarity doesn't have any such condition though, so it may help to keep it through the run regardless if that is the main purpose of the run.

Thanks for the tips man! I'll this on my next run. Also in my run, I did try to avoid gods to in just focus on Demeter encounter but that didn't help. But yeah, I ended up getting duo boons more than her Legendary boon 🙁

I am sorry, but I need clarification on the INCREASED RARITY.. I thought RARITY just means the level of of a boon? Like a DIVINE DASH for example could either be white, or RARE, or EPIC.. but the rarity of encountering it is pretty much standard.. -- this is also a part which I don't fully get. Like when the game refers to "rarity", does it acutally mean that for example, "rarer and stronger" boons such as duo boons appear more frequently?

But the literal reading of it isn't true. I've gotten a Trial of the Gods room first where neither of the Gods in it are the keepsake. It's rare, but it does happen.
