I do not disagree.

I personally enjoyed god mode (-80% damage buff) especially after having first spent time learning skills and strategy in normal mode, and then refining those skills further in hell mode. After that, god mode is heaven!

It was like how your arm kind of floats after having a heavy cast removed. Whee!

I played Hades initially using keyboard + mouse, I liked it enough and was frustrated enought that I purchased a controller and then spent some time training myself with the various weapons. I eventually beat the game. But still carried some bad habits (like panicked button-mashing) that I wanted to redress, and my skills were still pretty rudimentary (as compared to more experienced gamers, which is most of you).

In god mode. You can upgrade your character to the point that you don't have to avoid damage.

So you can pretend to play as a versus character like unit combat in RTS.

I play god mode because I don't want to dodge.

i played on god mode for over a year before i stood a chance in normal mode! my dexterity is terrible, so god mode was my gateway to enjoying this game. nowadays it's great for chill hack and slash sessions :) i prefer normal mode these days, but that's just my experience!

Yes for me but it felt like that I have the most powerful spear in my hand.

It's at the very least a good stepping stone to ease you into maybe one day not needing it, but lets you enjoy the game in the meanwhile.

I can clear the game with god mode on basically every time, but with it off I get stopped in Elysium cause i'm too bad at avoiding damage. keep in mind, I don't dislike hard games, I have beaten every single souls game multiple times. It's more relaxing with god mode on.

This makes me chuckle. No one cares - preceded by calling it cheating.

But, for real, the crazy thing is that many people very much do care. Certain people will cast aspersions like "you didn't really beat the game" or "this games not for you" or many other things to make a person feel less-than for daring to want an experience that isn't within the artistic vision of the developer.
