How to reverse weapons upgrade? Access older save?

I upgraded my Spear, but that changed the behavior of the Special, which really sucks. At the moment I realized, I exited and reloaded the save slot, but it was already saved.
Is there a way to undo this, like with the mirror?
Maybe I'm in luck, because the Steam Cloud says it couldn't sync the game data. Is there a way to restore an older state, by overwriting the local data?

Upgrading an aspect should not change weapon behaviour, just buffs that aspect (more dmg, etc.). It sounds like you unlocked a different aspect and switched to that one instead. Each aspect has unique mechanics. If you got a new aspect you can just swap to your original aspect by interacting with the weapon in Skelly's room.

As above, you didn't upgrade it, you changed it. Just select the old form again.

I'm guessing you unlocked Achilles aspect by the sound of the post, but you can revert the Aspect when you select a weapon, you can press e or whatever button you use to pick things up and you can click on an aspect like zagreus and it will change the spear to the original form I assume you had on your spear.

Also if it is the Achilles aspect then I'd advise trying it out even if you don't like it, it's pretty fun with certain boons, and is considered the best spear aspect.

I switched back to the regular behavior.

Unfortunately the Titan Blood is still wasted. It should be possible completely resetting the weapons by the use of a key (like with the mirror). I see no reason why the latter is possible while the other is not.

The titan blood isn't wasted, you'll know why when you start to unlock the main quests for weapons.

It is worth noting that, assuming it was the Achilles aspect you unlocked, the special was added to, not changed. The original behaviour of the special, where it gets pulled back, still exists. After you throw, press attack instead of special, that will pull the spear back like the other aspects. Assuming you haven't spent blood elsewhere in the spear, that technically makes Achilles strictly better than the original.

Also, as you progress, you will also be able to acquire as much blood as you want, so 'wasting' one is a pretty small deal overall.
