Lightning Rod turns every fight into a cakewalk.

As of now, after 140 hours with this game, there's only one boss that gives me any trouble and that's Hades on Extreme Measures mode, 3rd round in the dark is something else. I decided that this would be perfect to see how strong the lightning rod build really is. I managed to get two additional casts from chaos upgrades which gave me a total of 5 and I used the Adamant Rail (got the rocket launcher and launch 3 rockets quickly upgrades), Special was Artemis which gave me a better chance at crits, along with Artemis call (personal favourite). Machine gun (attack) was Zeus which is great against mobs, but not so much against bosses.
Strategy was as simple as it can be, spam my casts, let the lightning do it's thing and spam rockets from far away while launching my call when it's available.
Well, I pretty much destroyed him with only one life lost. Lightning Rod turned a very hard fight into a cakewalk, so much so that it felt kind of cheesy, but I admit it was satisfying seeing the big guy in hard mode go down that fast.

Lightning rod does lightning strikes for each bloodstone on the ground, with 5 on the ground in his build, that's 350 damage. They strike once per second so pretty good passive damage while your also doing damage with your weapon. Gets even better if you happen to get double lightning strike boon.

Oh it didn't take long, I was even surprised how fast I was getting his health down, especially when I was also spamming my rockets with lots of crits, and don't forget Artemis's Call which does a ton of damage.

Yeah, lightning rod makes things real easy. I've only had it for like 2-3 runs, so the rarity makes it okay.

It's actually really easy to get, all you need is one Zeus and Artemis main boon in order to get the duo to appear.
Just make sure you don't have Stygian Soul activated in the Mirror of Night.

The thing is the arena is pretty small so how did you keep them on the ground to deal dmg when they're likely to be retrieved when you're dodging around?
