Hades
Crystal Beam
So, why is this thing so bad? If you are going full cast blade rift or trippy shot are much better options. I've tried multiple times to make it work and, sure it can work on slow enemies, but it only works on everyone else if I have the crystal clarity duo power, and getting duos can be unreliable at best.

I think it just needs a small tracking buff and maybe a few more boons.

I tend not to fill the cast with Demeter unless I'm certain that I have Artemis in my pool.
If I got Demeter first, I'd fill attack and/or special first, then aid, I'll even take her second rank boon before filling cast. If I got Crystal Clarity, then I'll make certain to get Arctic Blast as well.
Cold Embrace with Aphrodite 'might' also work. But it would be better if you also have Athena in your pool and can get Parting Shot, because the way Cold Embrace work, it's more likely for your enemy getting shot in the back while chasing you.

It deals tons of damage for a cast, and while the tracking can be slow without either of the tracking duos, you can mitigate that downside with positioning, both of the turret and of the enemy. It also gets insane with other boons, in particular the one that causes the turrets to last longer and chill, and the one that causes 10 chill to explode. You put 3+ of them facing an enemy and they start imploding.
My most recent run was Demeter Crystal and Hera aspect bow, which makes for a pretty solid combination as you drop all your casts right in the face of whatever you hit. It was my slowest but least damaged Surface fight to date. Drop 3 casts of crystal beams into him, duck behind pillars/dash as far away as possible. It's a very niche power, but it has powerful builds.

It's good if you get demeter again and have it inflict slow. Combine with Artemis' improved tracking and it's great for keeping Hades always moving at a snails' pace.

Just don't get 'beam points at you' that upgrade stinks.

they are great, overpowered with a little bit of luck
Aspect of Hera with Dionysus + Demeter duo makes for hilarious damage. Add in either artemis or aphrodite depending on if you want to stack hangover damage after or just want to see huge numbers. I have seen it hit for 3500 with a crit setup.
Crystal Beam benefits a ton if you get Glacial Glare. Increased spawn length and the applied chill slows everything down letting the beams burn down enemies easily. When running a beam build I usually combine with +1 gemstone from Chaos and Stygian Soul.

It's good for melting Theseus. And killing that royal jerk is clearly the most important thing.

I humbly give thee an award, as it is all I can give at this moment.
My first 3 clears ended up using Crystal Beam :-)
Staying away from dad while chipping in damage was good enough for me. OTOH, I'm not really good at the game, first clear at 55 with 50% god mode. Did not have enough mirror boosts for the Duo chance, though. Luckily Demeter has a few boons that help the beam: +chill, +damage if all enemies are chilled, +chill explosions at 10...
I just had a great run using the crystal as my main weapon. I got hammer boons that basicly ruined the gun in any viable way. But I got the crystal, a boon to have it chill, then chill stack nova, longer duration and chaos gave me a 4th cast. Also chill call to really stack the chill and nova effect.
Absolutly obliterated the bull bros and Hades.
