Games that aren't as good as Synthetik but are still good roguelikes:
Enter the Gungeon
Noita
Into the Breach
Slay the Spire
Risk of Rain 2
I would recommend Supergiant's other games if you like Hades though - they aren't roguelikes, but they are all good.
roguelite - our darker purpose
altho hades comes pretty close for the latter, some of the story elements (esp orpheus and eurydice) ruin it. hades is def the superior choice in term of pure gameplay tho
Interesting, what bothered you about that?
- FTL
- Hades
- Wizard of Legend (a bit on the easy side like Hades, so it's another great entry point)
- Risk of Rain 1/2
- Dungeon of the Endless
- Unrailed
- Ziggurat
Honorable mentions:- Sundered - Awesome roguelite/metroidvania hybrid
- Dino Run DX - Cute game, can't really call it a roguelite
Crypt of the Necrodancer looked and felt like a great game, but it was just too hard for me.Rogue Legacy didn't keep my attention for long.
Never played Binding of Isaac, but after watching a few hours of gameplay I already felt like I had enough.
it still manages to keep me playing for at leaste the last 6 years of my life.
whoever reads this: have a nice day.
