M&LB => Easier to aim with a lot of weapons
Controller => Easier to move
I bought cheap logitech gamepad when I started to play Ori and this is fine for Hades too
Cheers
The right tool for the job is what I always say :) I keep two controllers on hand but still default to mouse+keyboard for a lot of games. Especially shooters or strategy games. But when I'm playing a third person action game then the controllers come in handy and feel great. Haptics are getting better and better, and it's too bad they're not included in most gaming mice. There are even some games where I use both, like CP2077 where I use mouse and keyboard to walk and fight and then pick up my controller when I get into a car. Great thing about that is there's no fiddling with a menu to switch, you just pick up the controller and go.
None of that answers your question, though. I always use a controller for this game, but as you can see a lot of players swear by KB+M. It really is just a matter of preference here.
How do you keep your desk clear enough to run a mouse at low sensitivity (the way I hear pro gamers do it)? Like, even if I wasn't a slob, my desk isn't big enough to get my shoulder involved in mouse aiming. I use a Logitech MX Ergo because I don't have to move it at all so there's enough room at my desk for my lunch.
Since I've been using a trackball style for years, I have no trouble getting consistent headshots in FPS games, but I know that it's objectively inferior to a true gaming mouse.
