How many different gods per run?

Hi there,

first of all, I want to say that this game is insanely fun. This game and Dead Cells reignited my passion for gaming amidst the, in my opinion, relatively stale AAA market.

So far I have escaped four or five times, and I am looking forward to many more runs in the future.

Some things seem rather unclear to me, though:

How many gods appear in one run?

If there is a maximum number of random appearances, can I add one by using the respective keepsake?

How do boon keepsakes actually work (asking cus despite the initial XYZ god keepsake the first room does not necessarily give me the respective boon of that god)?

Does Hermes count as an extra god?

How many hammers do we get per run, and does the number get refreshed, if I sell one of the hammer upgrades?

Four gods, not including Hermes or Chaos. You can expand that using keepsakes (so you can get 5 if you got 4 in Tartarus and used a god's keepsake in Asphodel, etc.).

If you use a god's keepsake, they will show up in the first chamber that has a boon reward (often, but not always, the first room of the run).

You can have 2 hammers per run, but can increase that to 3 if you buy the Anvil of Fates from the Styx shop.
