What's the logic behind heat rewards?
Why should I grind lower levels of heat, with every weapon, to get all deserved rewards? Why heat levels count their playthrougs separately, instead of marking the highest result and going with that?

I really don't get it. Game alredy grindy enough, with all these plot development, relationship advice, achievements, properchies and so on. Now there is all these level of heat, counted for every weapon separately (fair), and only giving actual rewards per heat level (unfair).

Why game forcing me to LOWER difficulty and go step by step for maximazing rewards?

At some point rewards are just cosmetics anyways.

Everything is connected. If you could get all the rewards at once, you'd be here in the forums asking why you should do any more runs just to advance the story.

Pretty sure you don't have to lower it though? You can do heat 32 x 20 times to max out reward per weapon?

Yeah the heat system is badly designed. It offers no benefit to higher levels and you basically grind lower ones to get the bounties necessary to get stuff and upgrades. It should really have given more rewards the higher the level. It shouldn't be the players job to regulate difficulty, if you offer no benefit to higher difficulty, there's no reason to choose it, so people won't, this is psychology 101. But people will defend any and/or every aspect of a game they like even if they don't understand it, so don't expect any actual discussion.

I understand the point is the play the game a ton of times (whether for plot or in general), but it'd be nice if you could at least clear like, two bounties at once if you put in enough heat.

You can do a run with the heat level as high as you want, if you want more of a challenge. Exceeding the heat meter won't give you extra rewards but it is possible.

If people defend it, doesn't it mean that people like it? What for do you want additional rewards anyway? There are the statues, what more do you want?

Imagine we had addition rewards for heat 20-30. Then you would complain that there are no additional reward beyond that new barrier.

What do you want? I don't get it. By then, you have all your weapon aspects maxed out anyway.

Some players will attempt to beat higher heat levels merely because the greater challenge is there. That is psychology 201.

I enjoyed grinding heat on my one favorite weapon (bow) up to the point where I maxed out the rewards at heat 20. By that point I had already finished the story progression and several relationships. After that, I spent a long time just playing bow at heat 20 for the fun of it, and then switched to picking up some more titan blood from other weapons to try out a couple of aspects that interested me. Finally, I turned the heat up to 32 to see if I could still win and get the Skelly statue.

I never felt like I was forced to grind, I had fun the whole way through. Now that I have all the aspect that interest me, I can play at whichever heat level I want and not worry about rewards. Heat 20 started to seem like a pretty casual run that still kept me on my toes, I didn't mind doing repeat runs to try new builds.

No matter how much heat you run with, the amount of heat required to earn bounties only goes up by 1 at a time. The first time I beat the Hades with the gun, I was on like Heat 6. Next time I used the gun it told me to run at Heat 1 if I wanted rewards. I ran at Heat 6 and got my rewards. The next time it told me to run at Heat 2 if i wanted rewards; I ran at Heat 6 again, etc.

Because.

Heat its merely for the challange, and the rewards are just a bonus.

Compared to early access theres a few more options to get the heat rewards like prophecies, the broker, some options in the contractor to get more gems to trade for other stuff and fishing.

Are you saying its too easy? Even on hell mode?

If you're looking for a challenge, just up the heat as much as you'd like. It's a game, do what you want with it.
