If people defend it, doesn't it mean that people like it? What for do you want additional rewards anyway? There are the statues, what more do you want?
Imagine we had addition rewards for heat 20-30. Then you would complain that there are no additional reward beyond that new barrier.
What do you want? I don't get it. By then, you have all your weapon aspects maxed out anyway.
I never felt like I was forced to grind, I had fun the whole way through. Now that I have all the aspect that interest me, I can play at whichever heat level I want and not worry about rewards. Heat 20 started to seem like a pretty casual run that still kept me on my toes, I didn't mind doing repeat runs to try new builds.
Compared to early access theres a few more options to get the heat rewards like prophecies, the broker, some options in the contractor to get more gems to trade for other stuff and fishing.
If you're looking for a challenge, just up the heat as much as you'd like. It's a game, do what you want with it.
