Should I get the eredus gate before anything?

I have not unlocked anything. I have 3 diamonds..should I go for it or pick another and come back. I am early in the game so to speak.

the erebus gates are only useful when you're at least 5 heat with the pact, 10 if you wanna use them in asphodel, 15 in elysium.

What one do you recommend to unlock first,? I was thinking gems after killing the boss for rewards.

Gems after boss kill is great, I'd pick it up right away. There's sooooooo many gem things to buy. I rarely use Erebus gates and they're expensive to buy, I wouldn't rush them at all.

Rerolls from Key rooms is probably what I'd take after.
