Pact of Punishment (32 Heat) - Suggestions on Heat + Weapon/Build?

I completed all the weapons' 20 Heat threshold (maxed out all bounties I can claim), but I want to get the last of Skelly's three statues.

Any suggestions on the best weapon to work with? I was thinking of the fists or rail, but would appreciate the advice of players who managed to clear it.

I found Zeus shield pretty good for it. You can block while the disc does it's thing sometimes for danger. If you can get Merciful End it's crazy fast dps too.

I had pretty good results with Hestia if I disabled Damage Control, Jury Summons, and Calisthenics, but a single bad room with damage-control-granting elites turns into a nightmare unless you have hammers for multibomb special.

The range of Spear is handy with Forced Overtime disabled for easy enemies, but if you don't get Flurry Jab or Serrated Edge hammer (or Hunting blades I suppose), the boss damage is a little unfortunate. Achilles recommended for Spear.

I did it first try with my favorite weapon, Hades spear. Left off 1-hit shields since I like spin attacking on spawns, but that was probably a mistake, taking off enemy speed and putting points in that would probably be better. Most important for me was leaving off the time limit, which meant that I was facing slightly harder enemies, but could take all the time in the world to do so.

I did it with Chaos Shield, Zeus build. Could have swapped a bit of Hard Labor for Forced Overtime, but I really don't like how fast enemies get. Got a bit wrecked during Theseus and the Minotaur fight, but Hades was relatively easy even on EM 4 (just don't get hit).

i used the fist with fully upgraded aspect of zag for +15% dodge and hope that you get the highest tier of dodge chance from the New Vegas Courier and the damage resistance boons from the wine dude, pink love, and wise owl.
Barley used shops, think the only things i bought were to get an increased rarity of 1 boon since I had the stipulation that made mirror talents void, think i voided 6 of them so +2 heat and just got incredibly lucky with the rarity of my boons


funny enough it is my 2nd fastest time 17:30.86

the stipulations that i stay the hell away are: benefits package, its total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the one that makes enemies faster and attack faster

if you are able to unlock the 4th tier of the boss one then do it since it gives +10 heat just from that.


or just use shield and block everything, it makes Hade's final and final final phase a breeze

Use a shield to block most attacks, go for poseidon or artemis for damage, athena for defenses.

Dont use heat option that takes away boon choices, dont touch trap damage and use the one that buffs skull enemies, you can increase shop prices to max and just buy stuff from the well, use the heat option that forces you to sell 1 thing before leaving.

Here are some of my choises in full Heat 32 runs. Artemis is almost always key to win imho.
As for weapon - if you dont have timer, the easies one is probably Shield of Chaos.
