I disliked it the most when I first got my hands on it. Was also the first weapon I managed to beat the final boss with. My mind was changed after that run.

Just because you can't use it doesnt mean its a bad weapon. It is actually the best weapon in the game.

Let's see, a ranged weapon with high stunlock potential due to fast and repeated hits and a hard-hitting aoe that while hard to aim is big enough for it to not matter that much...

The base kit is much better rounded than most other weapons, and the hammer upgrades are mostly very nice...I mean, the Fists are mostly the same, but melee instead of ranged, making them quite worse imho. And I don't mean they're bad, just...worse than the rail.

Man, going full Ares on that gun feels so good. Pumping a full Doom build, where you get bonus damage, but longer wait, and increased stack damage, and then tossing ricochet bullets on that... PEW PEW PEW, baby. Then getting some nice buffs on your special, especially the rockets? Rip and tear.

Aspect of Eris would like a word. It was nerfed a bit recently, and is probably still the strongest weapon in the game. Everyone has weapons they like and don't, I favor the spear myself while I've seen many dislike it, but it is possible to separate "what you like" and "what is the best/worst".

Its boon and hammer dependant, it can be ultra mode, or lame depending on luck
