Fated AUthority. how to use

I am trying to work this out. I have read some discussion but still dont get it.
How does it work? some detail. Thanks.

Re-rolls how? like what next room? The starting olympian?

It gives you a chance to reroll a room's rewards. Each door will have either a blue or gold laurel; blue laurel rooms can only be rerolled into permanent resources (gems, darkness, keys and so on), while gold laurel rooms can be rerolled into temporary rewards (boons, obols, hammers, and such).

While you have rerolls to spend, it will show in the bottom right corner along with your other resources. When you approach a door you'll be given the option to enter it, or reroll it to another reward.

The purple version gives you a keypress prompt when you approach the door to the next zone to use the rerolls to make the door have a different reward on the other side.

The green version gives you a button at the botton of a reward list (like when you pick up a boon or interact with a Well of Chaorn) that lets you reroll the list.

How do you re-roll with a controller. I stood next to one and nothing happened.

How do you re-roll with a controller. I stood next to one and nothing happened.

It comes up with a keyprompt, right next to the keyprompt to open the door. Right trigger or something I think, by default. Are you sure you had a charge of it when you tried?
