What happens if you steal from Charon?

You'll fight with it and win an achievement if you kill it.

You'll fight him, but be ready for a difficult boss. He hit REALLY hard, so if you fight him before the first boss, i hope you are confident in your skill.

You get teleported to a boss room and fight him. He's a pretty tough fight. If you win, you get his loyalty card and an achievement. The loyalty card will give you a discount on his wares in this run You then go to the next chamber.

Sometimes in a Charon shop, IIRC only ones not right before a boss, there will be a money bag behind Charon, and you get the option to take that money bag. Not sure what enables it to first appear, if anything at all.

Just be aware, he's very tough. But the reward is also quite potent, especially if you get it early in your run.
