Hades and the gameplay limit of the heat system ?
Now i really love hades a lot and while i have some critics for some things that i wish would have been added (pretty much some more minibosses, and a second boss in the second zone) i think i have found something that kinda feels like it punishes me for trying out different weapons.

Basically i am at a point where achievement wise i want to reach 100% completition and i also want to unlock every stuff in the game, so i still require some time, but i feel like the heat system kinda forces me to play the game in easy mode when i can go against an harder challenge in-game, and this especially happens when switching weapons.

What i mean with this, basically if i have an higher heat with one weapon and very low heat with other weapons, in case i would like to switch weapons i am kinda forced, correct me if i am wrong, to grind out heat with that weapon playing one after one runs that feel like "baby easy" when i am already used to higher difficulties and this to me kinda decentivize using other weapons or putting extra heat because at the end you only gain the rewards of one heat more and you don't gain the rewards for the extra heat you put other than the heat needed to get the rewards.

Isn't this system kinda pointlessly grindy ? I would like to put extra challenge to a better degree and if i can do it shouldn't i also gain the extra rewards of the extra core i put ?
I mean i decide to risk more but i still gain less at the end, when it could be the more you risk a higher challenge the more you can lose easily not gaining any progress in terms of rewards ?

The skelios statues need a lot of heat and unless you only play with one weapon it seems hard to reach that without costant grind for some reason.
Am i doing something wrong with heat, or it's excessively grindy and punishing to diverse gameplay ?

No, you are not correct. You are not forced to lower the heat at all.

You get new rewards if your heat is at LEAST X heat.

If you go above X heat, you will get those rewards.

The next rewards will not be the highest heat you beat hades with, they will be X+1.

Wait so basically if the heat that i need to get rewards is for example 11, and i put in for example 3 heat more, do i get the rewards for 14 heat run as if i played 3 runs more after the one with 11 heat minimum ?
Like 3 crystals and so on ? Cause from what i know you don't get rewards for excessive heat.

It says put the heat to at least 5.
You put the heat to 10.
You win the run, getting a bounty from each boss.
It now says put the heat to at least 6.

In the above scenario, it doesn't matter if you set the heat to 5 or 25, the rewards are the same, as is the heat required for the next run. Thus, while you aren't rewarded in any way for
going over the heat requirement for your runs, you are also free to set your heat as high as you wish for a fun experience.

As far as I can tell you can crank the heat up as much as you want- the game will warn you that the heat level is way beyond what you need it at to get the next bounty, but will still let you run with it. The only restriction I'm aware of is that you can't run Extreme Measures 4 until you've unlocked it via the House Contractor. My typical method of playing was to just raise the heat to a level I found enjoyable, then run whatever weapon I wanted regardless of where the bounty level was for that weapon vs the heat level.

You aren't limited at all, you can set the heat to whatever you want and will receive the awards from the lowest level heat you haven't yet completed with that weapon. This way, there is no need to crank down the difficulty to make the game easier.

For example, let's say you've cleared heat 1 through 9 with the spear but only 1 through 5 with the sword. If you don't feel like downgrading the sword to level 6 for more bounties, you can play at 9 heat and will be given the 6 heat awards. You can then play at 9 again to earn 7 heat awards, then 8 heat awards, then finally the 9 heat awards. At that point you won't get anymore bounties without cranking the heat above 9 for the sword.
