Eternal Rest prophecy bug?

Anyone else encountered this?

I've unlocked the "Eternal Rest" prophecy, and it's pretty clear what you need to do.

I upgraded my sword so I've maxed out the Zagreus aspect, and I killed him but the prophecy didn't get fulfilled.

I finished an escape just in case it needed to be done on a following run, but that still didn't work.

The only thing that I can think of that's "different" is that I have God Mode on, but so far that hasn't caused any other issues.

God mode shouldn't affect it. Have you gotten Skelly to 6 hearts by giving him nectar? I believe that's also a requirement.

god mode has zero bearing on game progress so it's certainly not that. would echo above poster in double checking that you have met all requirements

Yes, definitely at 6 hearts. I don't think you can unlock the prophecy without it.

I've contacted SuperGiantGames since this seems like a genuine bug in my instance of the game

So not sure exactly what happened, but after doing an escape attempt with a _different_ weapon, then when back, equipped the blade, ensuring the Zag aspect was equipped, it worked.

The game does this sometimes with queued dialogue options. Probably a minor issue with the way it decides which message to display as there may be a conflict between a story/quest/attempt message.

There is at least one other quest I remember having this same issue later in the game as well. Just doing a few more runs eventually solved the problem.

There's one prophecy about "do XYZ, then seek out Poseidon". I did XYZ, and Poseidon was the next boon I found, but that didn't fulfill the prophecy. Next run I wore Poseidon's keepsake, and when he appeared, it finished it off. Seemed a bit weird, but there are some... unfortunately worded bits in the game.
