Is this a different Orpheus?

Because I thought Orpheus was a man? This Orpheus even has the lyre. But I'm fairly certain that in the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, the character was male. Am I missing something?

He is a man, even though the artwork has him look like an old woman. They clearly refer to him as a he.

Orpheus is a male here, he just has a falsetto voice and is just going through a bit of a goth phase at the time due to his hiccup with Eurydice.

Oh crap! Man I totally didn't notice. You know what I've looked up one of the songs, "Good Riddance" and yeah I hear it. The singing style actually reminds me of David Bowie. I really like it.

He was totally up in the air for me until they confirmed it in game. Especially the voice. I wonder if they did that intentionally. Guessing so since this game is so intentionally designed. That comparison to Bowie is on point.

Just a request btw, it might be nice to edit spoiler tags into the storyline bits about them eventually singing the song together. There are so many great little side stories I've gotten invested into in this game.

Darren Korb is the voice actor and singing voice of Orpheus, he is of course male as well as Orpheus, just as he is according to greek myths.
Orpheus, according to greek myths, had a singing voice, unlike any other man's raw voices, he sounded like an Angel and could even move gods to tears.
I can understand the confusion with his high pitched voice as well as his looks.
