I think the spear, of the melee options it is the only one i have a clear with. I just dont enjoy the sword and gauntlets.

Base shield. When I realized that I could just hold down the charge and block all of Hades attacks the fight was real easy, it just took a bit more time.

The basic sword aspect (unupgraded probably), surprisingly. I didn't clear until like run 30-something, and pretty much the only thing I ever got far with was the shield lol. So that was an omg moment.
