A greek goddess. She was thought up by ancient greeks and I'd imagine they wouldn't think of their god as looking like someone from another continent.
She was a goddess in greek mythology, but holds dominion over the world, not just a single country. Not to mention her own visage would be completely separate from what ppl interpret. Mary, mother of Jesus, is depictef as white, hispanic, or japanese depending where you go in the world, but she obviously was none of those.
Let's disappoint the troll.
Well yeah, if she was real she would look like the people from where christian mythology originated from. Just like Athena would look like people from where her story originated from. That's my whole point bro.
So, how did ancient Greeks look... bro?
But that comparison doesn't work because Mary is a person and Athena is a god. Even the myths themselves have different versions depending on the historical source. There's no canonical skin colour for any of the Greek gods, their portrayal is always open to interpretation.
I also don't see you complaining about the skin colour of Thanatos or the Furies. Hmm, I wonder why that is?

It's very much worth a read for anyone who's even slightly interested in the Ancient Greek mythos and will likely answer your question about the variations in portrayal of Greek gods.
If this were the other way around (black, copper, or brown skinned people made white) people would be very upset about the change.
Look, it's the Greek pantheon. Means everyone is sleeping with everyone, family or not, and they can look like whatever the hell they want. Zeus wants to look like a deer to bang Europa? That happened.
With this mythology, it's always "everything goes".
Imagine a game about aztec or african gods and there were gods that were made to look like greeks. The world would burn down!
Nah, we'd just sacrifice boring people to Quetzalcoatl.
Also people who can't answer simple questions... bro.
... if she WAS real, she would still be a goddess, and be created and born by Gods and Titans. And she can look whatever she wants to look like. PLEASE, don't make a fool of yourself, trying to bring biology into supernatural geneaology.
No, that doesn't make sense. If Mary mother of Jesus were real, she wouldn't be a hodgepodge of white, hispanic, and japanese. But if according to you, we use the worshippers to define how she looks like, she'd be this crazy racial combination.
Also, if you wanna talk about ORIGINAL worship, Mary was technically human. Again, athena was not. Athena was born from zeus' head.
