Way to unlock shortcuts?
Is there a way in this game to unlock shortcuts? I don't care about being underpowered I hate games that waste my time forcing me to replay the begging content EVERY SINGLE RUN.

There's a GOD MODE in case the game hurts your newly grown in teeth.

Well, this game, other than other rogue-likes which have shortcuts, is WAY shorter.
You can finish a run in 30-45 minutes (or even faster).
Its not like a "Enter the Gungeon" run, which, when you go to Bullet hell, and you want to take out every room, takes you a much longer time.
So i don't think for this game a shortcut is really necessary. ;)

Its not METRODVANIA, my little boi, its ROGUELIKE. If you go further through Bioms , skipping one-two - you will be just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ smashed , in first 2-3 rooms. Underpowered build - and you will be sent back to Pool of Styx.

18-20 max? Haelian's WR from march was 14:14 RTA (5:54 IGT) so your 18-20 min max would clock at about 8 minutes IGT which means you are 5th fastest speedrunner in the world on your average run! congratulations!

Nice argument here. People saying "it's roguelike" are right.
BUT! Proper roguelike gives you unique content each run. This game -- don't. Same enemies. Same bosses. Everything is kinda... the same.

Yes, we can do some builds. Yes, there is some random events. But... I got your point bro. This is rly bad way to make roguelike. I think... this isn't a proper roguelike. This is the game that makes you to play again and again for like everything the same.

Just give us more bosses! More bioms! That's it!

Still, I love Hades. But hate the "cheap" roguelike trend.

I know where you're coming from, and I usually dislike replaying the same first levels in Rogue-likes, but replaying the first levels in Hades doesn't feel boring. I don't know exactly why and there are many factors in action, but really, it is not that bad in comparison to other rogue-likes.
Moving and hitting target is fun, regardless of the levels. You don't start with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gun like in Enter the Gungeon, and don't spend so much time clearing a boring level with no challenge.
There's even an "artifact" that gives you (indirectly) a damage boost during the first levels. These artifacts can be unlocked then selected before the run (and switched multiple times during the runs), like the guns. Hades offers a lot of agency on how you want to play. Anyway, I could write paragraphs to explain how good its design is, but I've better things to do.

Buy it to test it and refund it below 2h if you don't like it. From my experience the game never became boring, but more interesting, hours after hours.

I bought it near the first day of early access, I hate it, I gave the feedback of shortcuts, devs didn't understand it. The thing about having shortcuts in the game, is you can make the user work hard for them, and You DON't HAVE TO USE THEM if you DON'T WANT TO.

A shortcut in a Rogue-like would be a bad design, no matter what you think of it, it would be terrible, you would be underpowered compared to the enemies in the biomes and so you would die because you wouldn't be able to damage them enough for you to have a breathing room during a respawn, they will get you eventually.

The devs did understand you they just did not want their game to have a shortcut into them.
You die. => What killed you? => Oh this killed me, I will be careful next time and pay attention to that thing => you start from the very beginning and overcome the challenge.

Each levels of the game offer you the perfect length, not too short, not too long.
They worked their asses off to make each of them and the least we can do is to play through them and if you don't want to then just don't play this game and/or any other rogue-like game because as far as I know, there isn't a single rogue-like with a shortcut.

About the "they should add more enemies and bosses".

Remember one thing guys.

Quality over quantity, always.

That is so true my not a speed runner i will call myself casual i guess, but i have a play this game a lot.

My speedrun was 11 minutes igt average run 15m.

This game, there is no point having shortcuts makes no cense.

Enter the gungeon makes cense becouse the runs usualy are long 35 to 50 m long.
