Messed up dialogue for the Asterius/The Minotaur?
So I finally reached the boss fight for Elysium, 23 escape attempts later, and it has this guy who's name I can't remember and the Minotaur. The thing is, the Minotaur starts talking like I fought him before when basically says "Now you face both me and this guy whose name Assassin can't remember." What confuses me is that this is literally the first time I've gotten this far in the game, and the way the boss fight is presented makes me feel like I hit a variation of the boss rather than meeting the boss for the first time.

Why is this bull acting like I kicked his butt before when I haven't even met him yet?

Did you do the Asterius mini-boss encounter during Elysium? That's probably what he's referring to.
Asterius is fought as a mini-boss in Elysium. If you get him to 20%, he leaves and the fight is over. You then fight him and Theseus as the act bosses. This is what he would have been referring to. You fought him before in the mini-boss fight.

dialogue from every character progresses with your escape attempts and your run-ins with them. you probably beat him in a run before as a solo encounter miniboss. the main boss of the elysium area being theseus and asterius. in post-first run completion with modified difficulty they gain a suit of golden armor, a bigger glaive, and a chariot mounted with miniguns
