Beating the game after rescuing persephone
Is it normal that it gives you the same old early access type "we havent made this part so pretend you died during the run" type thing, because according to the achievements (and spoiler thumbnail youtube videos) i know there is an epilogue, but beating the game does nothing

They simply have nothing of value for you at the location after the boss fight, so they just do whatever is necessary to get you back to Hell, whether its by killing you from a fall, a goat, old age, or even a banana peel. (I honestly like all the silly ways they kill you.)

I know, I know, I simply thought that you got to continuing the story to get to the epilogue by beating the game again

I don't really know the details of it, haven't got that far yet, but it isn't something that happens instantly. I often hear it is expected to be dozens of runs to get the epilogue, and possibly involves progressing conversations with Zeus and/or Demeter and/or Persephone first.

I thought it was a random chance for every run w/ 8 or more heat.

I swear, early access was a mistake w/ this title.
Incredible experience getting to the credits sequence, followed by doing dozens of runs to try and get the proper dialogue to appear so that you can advance certain quests and relationships.

The 8 heat thing seems to be just a rumor. Its just doing dozens and dozens and dozens of runs till the RNG triggers all the required dialog with certain characters to get the epilogue.

I already decided its nothing i will do actively, the game is "done" for me after the main story ending.
I will play it now and then for a few runs if i feel like it and if that nets me the epilogue someday, even better.

But i am already slightly burned out after just 30 runs or so, i just cant motivate me for dozens more to see some new dialog.
I just watch the scenes on Youtube when i get the urge.

Wait, what? For me the scene says Zag did X or Y thing(sometimes waters plants, other times repairs roof, etc.) to keep Persephone's cabin/yard in good condition then dies due to time limit.(one time was falling off the ladder lol) The animation and everything is still like Early Access one though.

Supposedly there's and epilogue of the epilogue... but you need to trigger some sort of dialogue chain after maxing Persephone's Hearts and winning runs. Haven't maxed her Hearts yet so wouldn't know.

I wish you could go back and tend the garden for like 2 or 3 bushes then dies, and get some small random loots out of it, as well as chances for more surface fishing.

The chances for surface fish are the same though regardless, I think

I kinda miss being able to see the sun rise at the end of the cliff after a solid boss fight.

Yeah, that'd be a great idea. Like you nab some fruit/veggies and Zag takes them back with him on death, then you trade them to the Chef for random Gems/Darkness/Keys. Basically low end currency bonus for doing a full clear.

I miss seeing the sun too.
Even after standing there for a bit to check to check whether Artemis' other half would make a comment, it was still nice.

I wouldn't mind not being able to tend to the cottage's garden if we were able to procure some stuff for the home garden.

I really thought that when persephone told me to take care of the garden she meant that i would be able to actively take care of it but apparently not i guess lol

Stepping on a Teemo shroom is my favorite.
