PSA: Hades Test Branch
Hey, we wanted to let you know we've just launched a Hades Test Branch, where we will be testing various fixes and improvements before they make their way into our official patches. Please note this is intended for the short run, to help us address any final issues from our v1.0 launch; it should not be taken as an indication of ongoing content updates, as we have no such plans at this time.

Quick FAQ:

What is the Hades Test Branch?
The Hades Test Branch is a version of Hades containing bug fixes and other work-in-progress we're preparing for an official patch. Having completed the Early Access development of Hades, we want to be especially sure our follow-up patches launch in a problem-free state. Having enough players opting to play on our Test Branch will give us the confidence that our changes have been thoroughly tested before launching an official patch.

Why would I want to play on the Hades Test Branch?
There are only two reasons you should play on the Hades Test Branch:

1. You are experiencing some rare technical issue we are working to solve; our solution will be deployed to the Test Branch first. There, you can get the fix ASAP and confirm it's working.

2. You don't mind getting all the latest changes we're working on, and are willing to help us test them if only just by playing.

To learn more, and get instructions on how to participate if you want, please visit #test-branch-readme at our official Discord[discord.gg]. Thank you for reading and for playing Hades!

Experimental branches have their own save files, in general. Should be the case here, too
