Low heat help
So I have only beaten the game three times, twice with pact. One time I did it with chaos shield upgraded once and the other w/ hestia iirc. It's been awhile since I played last.

I haven't beaten the game with any other weapons or aspects and I am looking for some advice on how to do so with nemesis, any of the spears, or just builds that work for any weapon.

I also have unlocked zagfists.

A very strong build that can carry pretty much any run is Athena/Ares.

You basically go for Athena dash and Ares doom and then look for their duo which lets Athena dash instantly proc doom.
Then you just build whatever damage/sustain from there.

I encourage to focus on learning the game and improving the night mirror buffs, probably learning one or to weapon aspects. Chaos shield is easy, big cheese. There is no need to focus on builds imo, till you can't play decently yet - they are quite inconsistent overall. They are fun to explore and plenty of them are useful. If you start aiming for specific combos, especially duos - it may get very frustrating, as they are rare. Instead, if you'd like to focus on basic builds like one or 2 blessings - it is possible. For example, when I play an aspect that gives +crit chance, I take Artemis arrowhead to further increase crit chance on my attack. Same for Dionysus (hangover) or Zeus (thungers), when I want something to boost my quick attacks on fists.

I have the mirror maxed out except for fated authority and the ones that improve boon quality.

So, do you want to get better or do you just want to finish these low heat runs? Because the latter is quite easy. Equip the Poseidon keepsake and go for a dash build. Get the boon that deals damage on dash and does knockback, and then get everything that enhances knockback. Adding extra dashes (Hermes boons) helps, but isn't necessary. You will plow through the game without having to use the attack button anymore. You kill everything, even bosses, just by dashing through them. This build works with any weapon, though I like it best with shield or magnetic knuckles.

And I see some people saying you shouldn't go for specific builds, I disagree, strongly. You should absolutely, adamantly, go for specific builds and try out what works and what not. You can force builds and you should. There are dozens of builds on the internet and on YouTube, but I suggest finding out for yourself. Look at the interactions. Got a weapon that attacks quickly? Equip the Zeus keepsake and get the chainlight on attack. Et cetera.

Also, general advice, if you get problems with your heat conditions, try swapping them around a little bit. The severity of the pact of punishment conditions differs greatly depending on the weapon you're using. Like, the condition that makes enemies immune to your first X hits... it's completely irrelevant if you got a weapon that attacks quickly and does chain lightnings.

Sorry, I can't tell you the proper names as I'm playing the game in German.

I really appreciate and agree 100% about going for specific builds. I want to try everything to see what works and yes I want to get better!

Speaking of poseidon I was going to try a cast build and the sword that knocks loose blood stones but I have no idea how to get a build using that weapon aspect going.

If you focus on more complex builds - then I recommend to consider using the re-roll for blessings instead of rooms with +chance for Legendary boons and +chance for duo boons.

Ok sounds good. I will work on putting darkness into that. For the first set of mirror upgrades I have everything maxed out except for fated authority which I only have one charge for.

I also have started using stubborn defiance.

Fated persuasion seems to be more useful for me anyway even if I only get one charge. Authority never seems to give me what I want lol. Plus the chance to reroll a boon or charon well seems superior. I am indeed very much interested in trying out all different play styles in order to find out what I really like.

I did FINALLY just escape with stygius for the first time w/ nemesis. I got GOD-TIER boons I might post a link bc the combination was perfect. I got TWO duo boons! First I got the Artemis/Dionysius one, then I also got the Athena/Dionysius one as well. I decided to go max crits from nemesis and it worked out fantastically especially with extra crit on attacks AND the daedalus flurry slashes upgrade. SO MANY CRITS! Especially combined w/ the one that marks nearby enemies once you kill another.

Seeing the whole build come together just as I wanted, was very satisfying!

Also does anyone have a suggestion for a spear aspect and build for low heat and blood levels?

I only have zagreus and achilles atm.

Both will do fine, though I like Achilles more if it's upgraded. With that weapon, you're open for a variety of builds. I think an Artemis Crit Build works perfectly fine and easy enough to play.

Thanks. Do you know what a basic cast build would look like? I am going to try out the poseidon sword but I have never played a cast build so I don't know where to start. I know some people will say to figure it out but I would really prefer to get a basic understanding of cast builds and then afterwards I will tailor them to my preferences and experiment to more advanced levels.

Which god goes well with the Chaos and Zeus shields?
