Keep playing, or don't if you're bored I guess, but you've got a lot of game left if Ambrosia is still a mystery.
You should be talking to everyone with a " ! " after every run.
If you maxed out their gauge with nectar and don't have the give option then you haven't heard enough dialogue from them. Keep doing runs.
1. After the locked heart is unlocked, can gift amrbosia. I would suggest to see a guide on how to unlock if you don't care to find out yourself. It's not quite as simple as raising affection by gifting anymore - now need to perform favors for the characters and that differs for each.
2. After the above is performed for certain characters (not all), and the first ambrosia is given to a character, they may give you a second gift called a Legendary Keepsake. You can level up these Legendary Keepsakes with ambrosia, This is a huge ambrosia sink and you will be glad you had them. Though really one legendary in particular is worth investing in and I saved the rest of my ambrosia for point #1.
i used it ONCE and gave it to meg.
im done. really dont see how im gonna use the 13 ambrosia I have, since i will use one for each successful run let's say.
im not gonna go through this 13 more times. it's over.
such a shame the progress is gimped like this.
How many runs, wins and hours to do have in the game?
Hades isn't a game I would play more than a couple of runs at a time. If you're getting burnt out, just spread out the play sessions a bit more. Once you reach the "end" of the story (the epilogue), I wouldn't even expect myself or most other people to keep playing.
I find it weird you are upset you haven't progressed enough through the game to use the item they gave you.
I gave one ambrosia to Cerberus not too long ago and I've been playing a lot. Beaten extreme measure 4, had a 10 streak (that I lost), beaten the game 20-ish time at this point?
Just keep playing, it's not like it's hindering you. Just sell them if you want, you'll get to need em and you'll have to grind them back. It's not the end of the world.
edit: also why being mad about my boi Lernie? he's just a friendly snake in the lava.
If you don't enjoy the gameplay loop, it probably isn't the game for you.
This isn't a game designed to be finished and left behind in a few weeks - it's one that tries to give you something to work towards and look forward to over the long term.
Some systems have unlocks that happen quickly, like the default weapons and mirror. Others are medium term, like the aspects and keepsakes. Others are longer term like the companions or fully leveling up all the aspects, or getting the house upgrades, or developing relationships with NPCs.
If all systems were accessible right from the start people who do enoy playing the game over the long term would run out of content quickly.
I cant agree with this at all. Hades is not a long term game, its indeed a game that you just need to finish 100% one time and thats it. There is not enough content for being a long term game. Infact, you already experienced 90% of the content with your first escape attempt. Having unlockable decorations is not content, its artificial grind.
I have only 70 hours in the game and have only 13 achievements left. I have games where i spent well over 1000 hours, thats not going to happen with Hades. It cant be, Hades does not have the content for 1000 hours, nor does it offer a proper system to spent your time grinding. Even Heroes of Hammerwatch eventually included a system for possibily infinite progress.
