Honestly, anything better than flurry shot on Bow?

I got this boon or whatever in my first or second playthrough and made my way up to elysium just fine. I haven't come across anything close to as powerful as this so far. Is there a way to increase my chances to get this boon with gifts? I think I missed which god gives flurry shot.

What are some other good weapon combos? Is my impression that flurry shot on Bow is the safest, strongest weapon build correct or..?

Cursed Slash on sword with hella attack speed and HP. Become wolverine and just infinitely regenerate as you beat people up XD. The flurry shot upgrades come from the hammers. Pretty sure its not from a god specifically.

I like Artemis or Zeus because with enough boon you get an auto attack each time you fire. It's pretty nifty plus Artemis gives crit hit.

Tbh if you unlock 3 rez from mirror and the keepsake unlock in the depth, you can swith to Skelly keepsake for another rez after defeating Theseus and Asterius. It's really handy when fighting Hades to have 4 rez, you can "parse" it out with like "I have taken out X amount of his health and I have X amount of rez left so I can..."

I just got a run with a duo boon that regenerates my call 1% every 0.2 seconds and I was with Zeus call and the Boon that gives you more damage after using a call.
I love this game so much, every run I stumble upon a chance of being absolutely broken lmao

Shield with shoot replacing bullrush and quick charge. It's incredibly tanky with good damage. Of all the builds it's the safest because the shield can block most things. It doesn't put you out of position. And if you get something like deflect on attack you can destroy things fairly quickly.

That one feels almost free.

In my experience, there are several worthwhile hammer boons for the bow. I will try to rank them from best chance to escape to decent chance to escape. (Reminder: This is all my subjective opinion)

Best: Flurry Shot (Attack), Relentless Volley (Special)

Good: Twin Shot (Attack), Perfect Shot (Attack), Concentrated Volley (Special)

Decent: Explosive Shot (Attack), Piercing Volley (Special)

Combination boons: Sniper Shot (Attack), Chain Shot (Attack)

The worst: Triple Shot (Attack), Point-Blank Shot (Attack), Charged Volley (Special)

I havent tried out Repulse Shot yet.


Thats my current experience with the bow. The best ones can usually carry you through the game, the good ones need a little bit more skill for an escape and the decent ones need quite alot. Combination boons i never take first and the worst are just the worst. Triple Shot needs proper positioning and then its basically just Twin Shot. Point-Blank Shot doesnt work for any playstile for the bow. If you go melee range then you want to use the special and dash away, not load up a powershot and if you have Flurry + Point-Blank... then you missed something. Charged Volley is just way too slow and would only be useful on Chiron, but that aspect cant get it.

Overall i never have problems to find a proper hammer upgrade combination.

What is 'multi mortar'? Are you talking about attack, cast or special? and which weapon up-grade is that? Or are you talking about the enhancement options in Skelly's room? Sorry, I'm lost with the description.

Railgun is indeed quite nice, I've especially enjoyed the 300% damage special with big radius that can damage you as well, helped me in the elysium boss fight with one of them, but it was too slow for the bull.
