Romance Options

Spoilers for Meg's route, but after I maxed out her hearts I got an event in Zag's bedroom that gives me a choice to follow my heart and be with Meg or reject her. Is this a specific thing only for Meg's plot line or there are (or will be added) different love interests ?

I'm working towards Artemis at the moment, though it seems I'm a good ways off before I can get to the end with her.

Still, Meg is a great second choice.

Do you get anything for romancing a character or is it just a story progression thing?

You can get "legendary keepsakes" also called Companions, only 4 are currently in game with at least 2 more coming sometime in the future.

A clock means the content isn't in the game yet, the heart slot can also be locked. At which point to progress the relationship you need to give them ambrosia it's the resource that looks like nectar but has a square base instead of being round.

You need to have a specific conversation with the character before the option will unlock. A good way to get it to spawn is just to refund death defy and go repeatedly suicide, talking to the character after each death.

Good luck romancing the Chaste Goddess. You know she's killed men for trying that, right? :P Bouphagos, Siproites, and Actaeon all probably have shades around here somewhere... ;)
