So I've given skelly enough nectar to unlock his storyline where he wants me to kill him with a fully upgraded sword. Any idea how many upgrades it takes to reach max level on the first sword aspect?

Max level is 5 for each weapon aspect.
But don't be too eager, the reward is not really worth the titan blood you spend on it.

5 Titan Blood for the story line, as:
- Each of Zagreus aspects requires only 1 TB to level up
- Then the other two aspects require +1TB per level (as in, 2 TB for level 2, 3 for level 3 and so on)
- Finally, the "guest" aspects so far required a flat 3 TB per level

afair you just need a maxed out zagreus aspect to fulfill his request.

I would work on getting an aspect of each weapon to 5 first thena fter pump up zagreus sword toc ash in on skellys reward, however skellys affection bonus is pretty cool and worth having.
