House contractor question

I've got 32 runs in this game with over 10k kills and i've yet to find the Asphodel fountain chamber once. I remember buying the Elysium fountain first but I can't recall if I ever got the Asphodel one afterwards, It sure as hell hasn't appeared in the 3-slot selection window anymore.

Is there any way to check which gem upgrades you've already acquired? I want to check whether I got it or not.

From my experience (about 50 runs), fountains show up pretty rarely. I think I've seen 3 or 4 of each, in their respective biomes, in 50 runs, which comes out to about an 8% chance to see one in a run. This is all from my perspective and has not been verified by any other means, but by my own experience, so take it for what it's worth.

To answer your question, I do not believe there is a way to see which upgrades you've purchased outside of visiting the contractor after each run until you know for sure you've bought it.

Hahaha you're gonna be mad. I got it at like run 10. Now that I think about it, my contractor unlocks were perfect.

It would be really nice to have a better UI for the contractor so you can see your previous purchases. Hopefully we will get this in a future update :)

It seems to me that you've probably gotten it and just gotten unlucky in not seeing it. Seems to me that if you're able to buy things with diamonds from the contractor than you've unlocked it, since I haven't seen gemstone cost upgrades, save for the aesthetic renovations, since being able to buy the diamond upgrades.

i hate how you cant see fountain rooms before you enter. i got cu(ked out of buying hp from charon's scrying pool more than a couple times then walking into a fountain room with close to full hp.

There is sometimes a tell when one is up. When you have multiple exits but only one doesn't have the little symbol indicating its an elite room. Often the non-elite room is a fountain. This happens especially often mid way through the biome when the game wants you to do the mini boss. The fountain can compete with its placement.
