I've Chaos and Nyx at max hearts until the lock, I've 9000 darkness for the quest but no dialogue options, am i missing anything? Or is it entirely random?

It shouldn't be random. It's hard to know exactly at which point in the subplot you are, though generally you advance it by talking to Nyx and Chaos. At a certain point you need to access the Administrative Chamber, so if you haven't done that yet, that may be the next step.

Hey thanks for the response! I paid the diamonds at the contractor to get there. Is there a set amount of dialogues i must hit?

No, it took me two runs before the dialogue advanced there and I was busy with other side plots involving Nyx.

It's mostly just random, just keep playing and it'll happen. There's no special conditions (unless you don't have the archives unlocked but could you even get this far?)

Most of these things just take longer than you'd imagine they would. In most games, you'd expect the next run to advance the new event you just heard about, but this one takes its sweet time before rolling the story forward again.

Thanks for this, yea I realised, I thought once the prerequisites were met we'd be on our merry way and when it didn't I got frustrated till I realised this xD
