Do The Gods Remember Your Choices?

I started playing and I had to choose between Athena and Poseidon power up on a run. I choose Athena and Poseidon was mad and hurt me with his powers.

Next time there are two choices of god power ups, will Poseidon and/or Athena remember my previous choice?
