Do "+attack damage" and "+Dash-strike damage" stack?
I noticed that some buffs specifically improve Dash-Strike. But I also noticed that Boons that improve Attack also improve the Dash-Attack Damage. Does that mean that if you have both kinds of buffs, they stack? Or is only the higher bonus used?

They stack :)
Your full Attack combo gets improved by all +Damage, +Attack
Your Dash Attack gets improved by all +Damage, +Attack, +DashAttack

Some boons are more specific:
Cruel Thrust (Sword) only improves the final attack in your Attack combo
Pulverizing Blow (Shield) only improves your Attack, not your Dash Attack
etc.

Someone else can answer these:
Do they stack additively (+50%+50% means +100%) or multiplicatively (+50% +50% means *1.5*1.5)?
Does Fist Dash-Special count as a Dash Attack? (I don't think it does but I never thought about it until now)

The do stack for the most part as Uli Minati pointed out and having things like doom on your base attacks from ares can proc on the dash attack as well for example

As far as I'm aware, most things stack additively in this game.

So if your base attack is 50, and you get a +50% bonus and another +75% bonus, then I think your resultant attack would be 50*225% = 113 dmg, rounded up.

Can this be confirmed?

Only thing that makes me wonder, is that if you have "effect on attack" (let's say a heal on attack), it does NOT trigger on a Dash-Attack. Made me start wondering what other things treated attack and dash-attack as separate.

Wish there were numeric totals shown for things sometimes.

You sure? I was always fairly certain that all boons and effects stack multiplicatively as long as they are different. This notably only matters for chaos boons that allow for multiple copies of the same bonus type. I believe the exception is damage reduction/dodge which is additive up to a cap.

If this wasn't the case some boons would be horrendous to a degree that's not even funny anymore... Especially the Ares damage increase for all attack types ...

the wiki states that bonuses are indeed additive.

True, it's the exact plopppsite to what I said. I wonder if that changed at some point, I remember seeing a small note in one of the updates about calculation.

Jesus, that Ares boon sucks.

It's possible that some boons stack multiplicatively. If Urge to Kill is additive, I agree it is awful.
At the very least, critical damage is multiplicative. Aspect and Hammer effects often increase base damage directly, so you could say they stack multiplicatively (or else Rolling Knuckle +5 and Concentrated Fire +1 would be a joke).

Welcome to the "Ares Sucks" club. Leave your hat by the door. Drinks are served after 7pm.

It's not good, yea, but it's a passive that helps all builds (and might round out your Family Favorite bonus) that is a decent pickup when you don't have better options, since it is always a net plus (however small).
