To imply that something the dev team has deliberately put in as an accessibility feature is "cheating" is quite frankly disrespectful to the devs and their intent. God Mode is a mode you can toggle on and off whenever you want in the game (unless you're playing in Hell Mode, that is!). It makes you tougher if you so desire. We want anyone invested in our story to be able to see it through.

Just because its in the game doesnt mean its not any less cheating. Your ignorance is real, almost every pc game has a way of getting to godmod or cheats without it being more than the base game itself. I can't imagine saying godmod isnt a cheat just because its a feature.

I actually thought God Mode was a great idea. A lot of people shy away from games like these for various reason, mostly because "I'm bad at these games". Having a baked in option for them to use to have an easier time without balancing the game around such option is great.

Plus, it's not like you start out with the 80% damage reduction. AFAIK, you start at like 4% reduction that increases by 2% each time you die. So someone who would use such mode needs to play and die at least ~38 times before they get to that "Lol I'ma face tank everything" God mode level.

I've never used it but I'm glad it's there for people that need it and the Devs are balancing the game with it in mind. So long as the Devs never consider balancing with God Mode in mind... it literally affects no one.

How is it cheating when even when youre in God Mode, the game itself cheats...2% increase in defense per death is there to put a handicap but honestly it helps make unlocking essentials faster so that you can do the real challenge...I had thought God mode to make you invincible, it does not. The game is still challenging even with it.
