Does doing heat lvl 3 get you 3x boss rewards?
Say I do heat 1, beat all the bosses and get each of their rewards.

But if instead of doing heat lvl 1, I did heat lvl 3, does it give you the rewards for heat 1,2 and 3? I.e. get 3 diamonds for defeating Hydra ?

No You only get the rewards for heat 3 so 1 diamon from hyrda. You however can still go back to heat 1 and get the boss rewards at that heat level.

That seems like really overkill for a completionist. So you have to do all heat levels with all weapons to get all rewards?

Do the aspects add a whole other layer, or is the sword consider one weapon regardless of aspect?

Its not that bad. I mean for a completionist yea your hours into the game will be probably around 100-200, but I'm at 150 and having a great time personally.

And the aspect don't add another layer. The heat levels are strictly weapon specific. So the Zagreus and Nemesis aspect of the sword both contribute to the same sword heat completion.

But basically overall to "complete" the game you need to beat the game 21 times each weapon plus beat the game once at 32 heat for a total of 127 times.

Edit* you will however unlock everything sooner than that though

Why 21 times? Heat goes past 21, no?

It does but you no longer are rewarded boss rewards (not including the darkness) past heat 20. So to get all the rewards you need to play from 0-20 heat which is 21 times

Also this may be wrong because I don't remember it happening for me. But on the wiki is says when you complete a weapon at higher heat then where the weapon is at it will count the run rewards for the lower heat.

I'm not sure what you mean by it will count. What I'm asking is if you start at heat 20 would you get 20 diamonds from hydra? I believe the answer is no

No not 20 diamonds but I think what the wiki is saying is you will get rewards for heat 1 and not heat 20. So like you can't work your way down if that was your style per say

You move up the heat leader only 1 point at a time. If you would go for 20 heat run on a fresh weapon straight away, for each successful attempt the gauge would move 1 heat up starting at 0 and all the way up to 20. I guess this is done so you don't rob yourself off rewards by accidentally skipping a few heat points.

actually 0 is the exception. If you beat hades with the sword at 0 heat you unlock the pact. Now you can chose to skip 0 heat with any other weapon. It dosnt matter how high the heat level got set up, you will beat heat level 1. You can return to 0 heat at any time to finish that.
