Report a translation problem
It looked for contact damage and it wasn't just the miniboos soulcatcher. It were the minor ones to. I'm not sure I've had that part of the Pact of Punishment active. I played Varatha in the 4th version and they seemed to start that behavior after getting the first lightning damage and they where not teleporting around the room they looked for contact damage.
