Some of the legendary weapon unlocks seem worse than normal
So I've unlocked the last legendary titan blood unlock for the spear and sword weapons and my initial impression is that they are worse than the other forms.

The move sets are slower and ultimately this makes them worse for two reasons.

1. Mobs (if no armor) get locked and don't attack if you dmg them. Slower attacks means increased chance they get an attack off and you take damage.

2. The slower attacks also mean that if the enemy attacks faster they can hit you before you get your attack off, which cancels your attack so you just take damage and do nothing to them at all.

So far I'm very unimpressed by these weapon forms. Yeah they are harder hitting, but with the way the game works that really doesn't seem to matter as much as attack speed.

They are way different playstyle of weapons.

The sword allows you create a slowing field that you can fight in as well dashing between attacks is huge allowing you to still have movement in between the combo. It's just dramatically different.

The spear creates a much more consistent special aspect allowing you to have a way smaller downtime than the other aspects which require you to recall the spear or rush to it. The attack is slower and it less optimal, but overall the benefit from the better special is big.

Play with them more, learn how to utilize them. Guan Yu and Arthur aspect are actually pretty popular in the community, Arthur especially for its ability to negate traps (including lava damage) within its field. Being slow is their trade off for their abilities, if it's that bothersome then get Hermes boons. But frankly expect the remaining final aspects to likely follow a similar trend.

Our design philosophy around the legendary Aspects for each weapon is that they are "exotic" fighting styles. They may take getting used to and have more complexity, giving them a steeper learning curve.

We don't design them to be inherently more powerful than other Aspects. Instead, we want them to be some of the most different-feeling ways you can use those weapons. That may mean your initial impression is that they are weird or not as powerful (and you may be right! we are always looking at game balance and feedback about it). Though, we try to make sure that at least some players will be able to discover their potential and really enjoy the alternate playstyles they offer. Feedback in Early Access has really helped us in this regard, so thank you for the feedback here.

We're expecting at least one new legendary Aspect in our Major Update coming in June, and in the full v1.0 version of the game, each weapon will ultimately have one.

I actually hated the sword out of all the weapons because I generally disliked the limited range and damage from it and felt it was lackluster.... until I unlocked Arthur Aspect. It quickly became one of my favorite weapons/aspects to use. So many meaty things you can do with it inherently, regardless of major boon picks.

Guan Yu is a bit different IMO because of the hit to Max HP and HP+ pickups. However the Lifesteal is insane and it stacks with other Lifesteal sources. A hammer upgrade and couple of key boons basically made that run an "let me just stand here spamming spin toss move lul". I was outhealing all incoming damage. Otherwise I feel it's a "fast and loose" kind of aspect, you trade HP(ability to make dodge mistakes/tank) with Lifesteal and a projectile spin to create consistent healing(great if you don't have Darkness upgrade) and Multi-hit burst damage. I mean, a simple Zeus/Artemis Boon for Spin has massive damage potential right out the gate.

Attack speed may be great and consistent because DPS but never underestimate Burst builds.

I'm actually really interested in how the Legends Aspects for other weapons will be. So far I've found every weapon to be good or great and some aspects favor certain builds/playstyles. There's only a couple of aspects that I find lackluster but I think it's because I simply prefer other aspects.
