Report a translation problem
Just some quick n simple ideas :
- add tomatoes for more of a salad feel and less of raw onion assault
- first cook the onions in the oil until they're getting soft, (low/medium heat), then add oregano and salt . Goes with bread, cheese, meat
- mix with feta or other similar cheese , bake in oven ~ 170 °C till it's .. uhm done ;) ... Feta going soft and nicely browned, but not burned.
One thing that bothers me now, reading it again "cook onions in oil" does kinda start to sound like whole onions in a pot full of oil, lol. Maybe I'm just being stupid now, but better safe than sorry:
It's supposed to be rings, or half rings, or smaller bits, in a little bit of oil. Stir-fry probably is the best description, only on rather low heat as not to burn them right away.
