Poseidon Aspect, (not necessary but nice to have)
Tipsy Shot (causing Festive Fog) and Scintillating Feast at its core.
What you add further doesn't really matter. As Scintillating Feast is a flat dmg bonus of 80, that strikes every foe within Festive fog, and it stacks with every Festive fog you lob at your enemies, have 3 festive fogs on Hades and he's getting struck 3* as much by lightning.
Festive Fog does insane dmg combined with Poseidon Aspect as well, sadly there are no multipliers for the lightning dmg. Only Zeus' boons give them more oomph like Double Strike, Jolted or Zeus Aid (call) and Splitting Bolt (legendary) which is insane as every lightning effect does 40 more dmg.
The best boons from Chaos you can get are Grasp, Soul and Affluence (for Charons shop before fighing Hades). If you still need Darkness, you can also consider Eclipse.
Hermes has little to offer in my opinion, If I have the chance I always avoid him or reroll with Fated Authority, as the only boons that have some use are Rapid Cast, Quick recovery, Greater Evasion and Greater Recall. And Honestly, I find them unnecessary. At least if playing with low heat.
If you are still farming Gems you should get Poseidons Ocean's Bounty or Sunken Treasure.
Other buffs that are nice to have are Proud Bearing (Athena) and Clouded Judgement (Zeus).
Before I forget, If I dont reroll Deadalus Hammer, then I get from highest priority to lowest, Cruel thrust, Armor Slayer and Double Edge.
If you are still having trouble, After Party, Positive Outlook and Premium Vintage are good boons that give you even more sustain.
_
However, experiment and look what works best for you.
Hermes doesn't focus on damage, rather mobility. More dodge and moe speed is always nice, his legendary that returns the blood crystals to you automatically is GOAT for cast or Hera bow runs. Actually that helped me to finish the game with the bow.
My highest damage run was surely an Ares/Artemis build, with Ares' cast, his legendary boon, the duo, and a bunch of boons to strengthen the cast itself, no attack nor special ( didn't even need a call to be fair )
Unfortunately it requires like 4 or 5 key boons to pull off.
If you get there it's basically impossible to lose.
If you actually wanna use the sword, daedalus with the flurry talent and an athena attack makes you extremely tanky.
