Persephone and seasons

According to game's lore Persephone left Hades, she is no longer in the kingdom of the dead. If so according to the myth there should be Summer outside and Zagrus should battle Hades in Summer scenery.

I actually think this is a major plot point left to be elaborated in a later update. If you remember Persephone's letter, she says that while she leaves the Underworld, she won't return to the Olympus either. And winter is the manifestation of her mother's, Demeter's grief, so maybe Persephone went into hiding from both Hades and her Olympic relatives and Demeter still weeps for her - thus the eternal winter.

Exactly this. its said in the game she dropped completely off the grid so it would be winter. My guess is that if we do continue to look for persephony and go to the surface our next antagonist will actually be demeter. Lore wise she absolutely hates hades and knowing his son is looking for her daughter will invoke her wrath for sure. The gods still think that nyx is zags mother so once that reveal happens its gonna be good. Im hoping thats where the devs go with it anyways. So far they have done an amazing job using lore to its fullest to really flesh out the under world and its characters.
