What happens when God Mod @ 100% Damage Resistance?

I've not hit 100% yet but it seems that I may eventually reach 100%. So, Does it mean that the character will no longer take damage and die when reach 100%?

Maybe it's just too late but I'm certain that damage resistance by any means caps out at 80%...

Yes, it caps at 80% like Lorska said. It's more than enough as I was able to withstand Hades a good bit.

Can anyone say how it interacts with boons which grant damage resistance?

Dunno why people rely on this outside of maybe learning the ropes. You can dps race Hades without it and win if you get a good build. Hell I've done it with the bow which is easily the lowest dps weapon.

God Mode is a mode you can toggle on and off whenever you want in the game (unless you're playing in Hell Mode, that is!). It makes you tougher if you so desire. We want anyone invested in our story to be able to see it through.

If people want to use god mode, let them. Supergiant has literally gone on record saying it's there for anyone who wants to experience the story. Whether someone wants to learn or is unable to for whatever reason isn't anyone else's business.

I find this feature convenient because I'm terrible in this genre! I wish Dark Souls had something like this since I couldn't complete all three games. I'm just grateful Supergiant also thought of the little guys who aren't pro because I would've likely passed this beautiful game off.
